Karen Carlisle Biography

Ms. Karen Carlisle is the Executive Director for the program and has been in this position since the program’s opening in 2009. She is a 1977 graduate of Brookhaven High School in Columbus, Ohio.

Ms. Carlisle has numerous years of experience in the working world ranging from working at the Republic Franklin Insurance Company to the Villa Angela Care Center where she held various positions from June, 1994 to August, 2008. While working on the behavioral unit at Villa Angela and at the same time taking care of her father who had mental health problems, she developed her passion of working with the mentally disabled. She has a deep interest in working with battered and abused women because she herself was abused and she strongly feels that “Battered women can come from out of the concrete into a Rose”. Ms. Carlisle has a sincere desire to help others which is why she loves helping ex-offenders. She feels that no matter how low they are or their crime, everyone deserves a fresh start because “at the end of the day, we’re all God’s children”.

In 2007, Ms. Carlisle along with William Brady, originated the T-Nation Cleaning Enterprises followed by the start of the William Brady Charitable Organization, INC. in October of 2009.

Ms. Carlisle states that her passion comes from the clients. “They give me strength to fight for their cause.” She goes above and beyond to make sure that they know she cares. She remains available to the clients 24 hours a day because it is important that the clients always have someone that they can call on in times of need.
